Born and raised in Worcester, Bill Murphy has been in the mortgage industry since 1998. As a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist™ Bill continues to attend workshops and seminars on the mortgage industry to stay abreast of new trends and products. He also teaches monthly Residential Mortgage Loan and Credit Today classes at the Realtor Association of Central Massachusetts. Bill believes in giving back to his community. He sponsors Make-A-Wish®, where he gives a portion of proceeds to making wishes come true. As of 2017, he raised over $175,000 since 2006, and granted 20 wishes on behalf of Make-A-Wish®. Bill has also held annual client appreciation nights at the DCU Center with the Worcester Sharks in support of Make-A-Wish®. Bill donates 5 dollars per attendee, benefitting the children of ‘Why Me.’ Bill was named top loan originator in Central Massachusetts by "Bankers & Tradesman" for 2014 loan production and recently ranked #1 Mortgage Originator in Central Mass by "Bankers & Tradesman". In 2017 Bill was honored with the Daryll E. Jacobson award for courage in business.
